Returning Starters: 1
Primary Offensive Strategy: Motion
Returning players key to your offense:
Pete Leonard is a competitor, who pushes himself from practice, to the weight room, to the game floor. He is a consistent inside scorer. Leonard's terrific low-post moves and hard work have also increased his threat to knock down jump shots, making him difficult to defend.

Ethan Murray has the talent to score from both inside and out. He is physically strong, giving him the ability to get the ball to the basket and score a lot of points in a short period of time.
Returning Lettermen:
Primary Defensive Strategy: Man to man
Returning players key to your defense:
Nathane Simniok led the Bobcats last season in rebounds, steals and blocks. His exceptional rebounding skills ranked him 10th in NAIA Division II, and his play during the NAIA Tournament landed him on the 2013 NAIA All-Tournament Team.
Top 5 Recruits:
Derek Daniels, a transfer from Drury University, will bring leadership and a winning attitude to the program. Known for his three-point range, excellent passing skills, and court sense, he should be a tough match up for opponents.

Alex Santiago transferred from Hesston College in Kansas. He is a quick scoring point guard who specializes in three-pointers and taking the ball to the basket. Santiago will also provide a strong defensive presence, since he is aggressive and not afraid to get on the floor.

Joe Young, a transfer from Johnson County Community College, is known for being very intense on the court. He will bring solid playmaking and defensive abilities.

Freshman Cameron Paschke from Fayetteville, Arkansas, played at the Class 7A level in Arkansas and is accustomed to winning. He is a true point guard who can score and is expected to be a good floor leader.

Neck-and-neck for the fifth spot we find Austin Selby and Nathan Reid. Selby, from Reeds Spring, Missouri, is effective around the basket and possesses the adeptness to drive into a powerful defensive presence. He has displayed great skill around the basket and continues to work on becoming a consistent mid-range shooter. Reid, a Crathage (MO) graduate, is a very versatile player, who has a strong three-point shot and an effective mid-range game. He also looks to be a key defensive asset as a rebounder.
Coach Shepherd says this about the offense:
Our offense will be successful if we can run when the opportunity presents itself. Our motion employs a series of constant cutting and screening that requires all of our players to read the defense and move with and without the ball. If we run good offense, we commit a low number of turnovers, get to the free throw line, and shoot a high percentage as a result of taking high-percentage shots.
Coach Shepherd says this about the defense:
Our team has good size and should be strong in defense and rebounding. We can be a good defensive team when we transition well, communicate, play team defense and rebound.
